A short jaunt
BRRRRRRR!!!!
We picked a lousy day to find time to walk.
We've missed a couple of nice walking days this week already, and when I begged off at noon today because I was already going to be taking some time off for a tour of Bethany's new house (which they move into at the end of the month), I called her back a few minutes later to say let's just take a quick walk.
I might have reconsidered if I realized how much colder it would be than the rest of the week was.
"Maybe it will warm up," Bethany said hopefully as we huddled in our hoodies at the start of the walk.
All I had to say to that was "No."
It was a pretty uneventful walk. We went tfrom my house to Subway, because Bethany needed to grab something for lunch.
Bethany, who said she didn't know what she wanted to order, ended up with a tuna sub, which is what she always gets anyway. :) Noon is my waking-up time, so I wasn't hungry yet.
Did you guess Bethany's mystery photo from our last blog? I didn't, and I was there when she took it.
