Still More Mesa

Had a spectacular meal at Mesa's Rancho de Tia Rosa.  So spectacular, I think it will be the one by which I judge all other Mexican restaurant meals--for the duration.

Just walking into this place makes me happy.  Already, it's decorated for Christmas.

This is Ginny & I walking into Tia Rosa.  You should have seen the smiles on our faces walking out.

I won't describe how good the food is here. I can't.  Take my word.

As we ate our desserts--mine being flan with a scoop of Tia Rosa's homemade ice cream--a couple of wonderful strolling musicians serenaded us with their version of of "La Cucaracha," preceded by an explanation of the song.  (Something about Pancho Villa being paid in marijuana.)

Anyway, the whole experience was unforgettable, at least for me.  On top of everything else, as Marilyn would put it, the water was well-iced.
